I finished my last art project for the semester!

it’s a collection of postcards with imagery that evokes intimacy/affinity, paired with a postcard back with that I photoshopped to contain little quips such as “share a part of yourself with someone else here”

I shot the photographs with black and white film, mostly of localized parts of the body I am particularly drawn to (hands, collarbones) and of slightly decayed flowers. ultimately I decided to present them as a set of postcards because in a relationship, you share yourself with another person in the same way you share sentiments through a tactile piece of postage

my professor is holding onto the cards to grade the project but I hope I get them back, technically they can be literally used as postcards which is accidental and neat
